scary stuff

but you’ve gotta stop

stop wallowing in this fear

i’m not going to hurt you or your’s

this fear of me causes you to want to control me

you cannot control who i choose for a partner

you can’t control who i pray to

you cannot control that i’m gender nonconforming

you cannot control what level of health care i receive

your fear wants to control me

and you need to walk through that

because if you don’t 

your fear will breed hate

your hate will consume you

and that control you want 

will be even stronger

you’re going to deny the fear

because fear equates weakness

and you’re not weak

you’re a red blooded amerikan

nothing scares you

but the fact that you preach freedom

but won’t live and let live

shows you are indeed

quite scared

it’s human to be scared

it’s inhuman to be hateful

fear is to be walked through

like any other emotion

walk on amerikan

live and let live

that freedom you preach

you shouldn’t hoard 

walk on through fear

walk on to freedom and equality

for everyone.
