Peeled and/or Ripped

Transition.
Change.
Moving out of one’s comfort zone.
Whether it be forced upon you or you choose it - it is inevitable.
It comes when it wants. It comes not at all. It comes when we need it.
Sometimes it burst in unexpected leaving us nauseous and dizzy.
Sometimes it creeps in leaving us anxious and thoughtful(l). It’s ugly and beautiful at the same time. It’ll leave you speechless.  It will set your mind abuzz with possibility. It is either peeling and/or ripping one’s self from our beds of comfort. We can be jerked from our comfort zones of pillows, and ease, and calm, into walls, and confusion, and chaos. It’s a chance for growth; a chance for endings and beginnings. It’s a chance to create. Stepping out of the comfort of my current job is uncomfortable, scary, and risky. But all that can come from stepping from our comfort zones is worth the discomfort, the fear, the risk. The new relationships. The new lessons. The new skills. The new adventures. Change is its own type of god. It holds immense power in its core. But we can only tap into the power by accepting the change, and ebbing and flowing with its currents.
